But at High Maintenance, we believe that investing in yourself is the highest form of self-care—and yes, it is demanding. The literal definition of High Maintenance means "needing a lot of care to keep in good condition" Emphasize on good.....

While some brands focus on simplicity or the 'soft life,' we recognize that our lives are complex, demanding, and worthy of care that matches that energy. Our candles are more than just products; they're companions on your journey to your highest self.

 

Meet the Chandler

Candle-making found me before I even knew what I was looking for. After years of quietly perfecting my craft, I launched High Maintenance in 2023 because the message behind it felt too important to keep to myself. I believe that investing in yourself is the highest form of self-care - and yes, it is demanding. High Maintenance exists to remind you that maintaining your highest self is necessary. Our candles are designed to be both a vessel and a companion on that journey. Just as I learned to pour a candle, I learned to pour into myself; and that’s when I realized I had found more than just a creative outlet — I had found my purpose.
